[Artisan’s Life Vol.28] Coolness created by Traditional Japanese Furnishings
The land of Suruga (currently Shizuoka Prefecture) and Edo (currently Tokyo).
Suruga Bamboo Basketry and Edo Kiriko (Edo cut glassware) were both handicraft arts developed in the lands ruled by the shogunate of Ieyasu Tokugawa.
This summer, we introduce these two forms of handicraft which will soothe the eyes with their refreshing coolness.
