Apology and Announcement Regarding the Customer Information Breach
On June 21, 2018, there was unauthorized access of the server supporting the booking reservation system on official website of Shiba Park Hotel and Park Hotel Tokyo, both operated by Shiba Park Hotel Co., Ltd., and Fastbooking, which is commissioned to operate the system, reported there was a breach of customer information.
Fastbooking has already taken security measures.
We have sent an email to affected customers explaining the situation and apologizing separately.
We have already contacted the Japanese Personal Information Protection Commission regarding this incident.
At the present, the booking reservation system on our English language homepage of Shiba Park Hotel and Park Hotel Tokyo is not operational, and restoration is undecided.
We sincerely apologize for the trouble this incident has caused both our customers and associates.
