[Artisan’s Life] Vol.23 Edo Kimekominingyo
The lucky cat series, which was very popular with the worldwide cat boom, has returned to the “The Artisan’s Life” exhibition.
Beckoning cats wearing colorful silk and leather are handcrafted in the style of “Edo Kimekomi Dolls” (dolls wearing beautiful cloths tucked into grooves) which have been designated as a traditional Japanese craft. They are produced by the Edo Kimekomi doll workshop, “Kakinuma Doll”, which goes back a long way. What kind of new creation will appear this time from the workshop announcing “lucky cats” that wear new clothes one after another! Please come and get a lucky cat, and take some luck back to your home, your store, or your office!
